As the owner of Flacks PR, Alysha Scarlett has earned placement in media that include CBS News, USA TODAY, The Washington Post, Yahoo! Also over Flacks and as a publicist, Alysha has experience writing press releases, doing media relations, and earning media coverage for entities including a governor’s office, an author who wrote about a nation being torn apart after an election, an affordable housing groundbreaking, Syrian refugees and owners of Los Angeles restaurants, a man whose work figured into a United Nations initiative that won a Nobel Peace Prize, New York City director & playwright Nehprii Amenii, a healthcare expansion advocate, a software executive, a Bay Area entrepreneur, and the theatrical film “Before Your Time.”

Alysha has done media relations and earned coverage of another author, a computer science professor, a government access app, and an artist & publisher.

Alysha earned placement for the national non-profit Vote Smart. She has also written press releases publicizing a robot, a boxing non-profit for youth, an initiative to help the still-innocent vote, a tool to help children deal with stress, an entrepreneur who brought krill meat to the United States, and a foundation that helps children with cancer. She also wrote a press release for a Republican man who organized an effort on the floor of the 2016 GOP National Convention to oppose the nomination of Donald Trump as president and was the plaintiff in the lawsuit that unbound national delegates under state law.

Alysha also did content marketing for a Nashville country singer, a law firm that fights for consumers and an organization that seeks improvement regarding issues like women’s rights and racial inequality in the Middle East. Alysha has created media databases for many of the aforementioned clients, including the governor’s office.

In other work, Alysha enjoyed being a screenwriter for the theatrical film “Before Your Time.” She wrote a dozen-and-a-half speeches for the governor. She was also part of a Disney film crew and wrote a brief used in a meeting with former President Barack Obama.
